What you will do

• Define security operations roadmap and implement long-term strategies.
• Improve processes, tooling, documentation, and training for incident response.
• Design, implement, and maintain security events monitoring systems.
• Perform daily alert investigations and incident response in cloud and traditional environments.
• Manage incidents, develop remediation plans, and enhance security maturity.
• Analyze security events from logs and assist teams in improving monitoring.
• Implement threat intelligence feeds and automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of security operations experience including alert triage, investigation, and incident response
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems from scratch.
• Proficiency in managing incident lifecycle and handling multiple work streams.
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and OWASP Top 10.
• Effective communication of complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
• Flexibility with occasional out-of-hours and weekend work

Nice to have

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and APIs.
• Awareness of standards like NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
• Basic understanding of forensic processes.
