Director, Business Development (Film)

TL;DR

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 yearly (bonus & LTI Eligible).

What you will do

• Negotiate and oversee commercial deals with new and existing distribution partners, including cable, satellite, telco, hotel, and digital platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners.
• Provide analysis on deal terms and commercial strategies to the business development team.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Account Management, Operations, Servicing, Marketing, Technology, and Finance teams to execute partnership requirements and deliver on business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience working in business development, strategy, or content distribution.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for reviewing, understanding, negotiating, and communicating complex deal structures.
• Ability to maintain balance between building strong customer relationships and engaging in challenging and complicated contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills, comfortable presenting to senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize appropriately.

Nice to have

• MBA or graduate degree in a related field.
