Salary: $100,600 – $215,400 per year

What you will do

• Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and development practices across the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements and produce design documentation.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable code for products and services.
• Break down complex work items into manageable tasks with accurate estimations.
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system health and resolve service degradations.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to improve system availability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of technical engineering experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to meet Microsoft cloud and government security screening requirements.
• Must be within commuting distance of a Microsoft office for hybrid work compliance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with data engineering tools such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Data Factory.
• Background in building high-availability and low-latency systems.
