What you will do

• Assure successful design and delivery of public services through technology.
• Act as a subject matter expert, facilitating design processes and communicating decisions to teams and stakeholders.
• Lead, develop, and share good practices within the Service and Interaction Design community.
• Coach and mentor designers and define interaction design standards for others to apply.
• Take full responsibility for meeting objectives and contributing to overall design outcomes.
• Build relationships with clients, support commercial bids, and contribute to marketing materials.

Requirements

• Able to develop new and novel approaches to highly complex design challenges.
• Expert practitioner in leading design tools, including Figma, the GOV.UK prototyping kit, and Adobe InDesign.
• Able to coach and mentor others, and define interaction design standards.
• Must be able to undertake SC clearance.
• Fully responsible for meeting objectives and contributing to overall design outcomes of an engagement.
• Candid-but-kind communicator, comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
