TL;DR

Web Designer & Design System (UI/UX): Designing for the full website and building a scalable design system with an accent on componentized, accessible, and brand-aligned visual frameworks. Focus on translating brand guidelines into reusable Figma components and ensuring accessibility best practices.

Location: Utah-based hybrid position, which will require some regular in-office days each week. Remote work is preferred within the U.S. for contract portions.

What you will do

• Build a comprehensive design system for the website, including typography, color systems, icons, layout grids, and responsive behavior.
• Partner closely with web engineers to ensure components and design system elements translate into production-ready HTML/CSS.
• Translate brand guidelines and design principles into reusable Figma components, tokens, and documentation.
• Define and maintain design tokens to support consistency and scalability across the design system.
• Support high-fidelity page design for new templates and layouts, ensuring visual cohesion across the entire site.
• Ensure accessibility best practices (WCAG) are integrated into components, patterns, and page designs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of web design experience, ideally with marketing websites or SaaS environments.
• Strong mastery of Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, and design tokens.
• Experience contributing to or building a design system.
• Deep understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and UX best practices.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS or design-to-development workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional settings.
• Must be based in Utah for regular in-office days each week.
• Employment is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
