What you will do

• Design intuitive player flows, wireframes, and interaction models to improve engagement and ease of use.
• Prototype UI/UX solutions to test usability and overall player experience.
• Create high-quality visuals, icons, and symbols that align with the game's horror atmosphere.
• Own the design of complex UI systems, including HUD and inventory management interfaces.
• Collaborate with game designers and programmers to harmonize UI/UX with the overall game vision.
• Create and maintain UI style guides, component libraries, and design documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design or UI art for games or interactive media.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and high-quality visual UI work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience implementing UI in a game engine, preferably Unreal Engine.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience working on horror or atmospheric games.
• Motion design or UI animation skills.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine UMG and Blueprints.
• Understanding of accessibility standards in games.
