What you will do

• Lead remediation of critical vulnerabilities within the assigned scope, including post-incident actions.
• Implement security measures on behalf of network infrastructure teams and roll out major security initiatives.
• Provide expert security recommendations tailored to our systems and context.
• Build and maintain security configuration templates and hardening standards.
• Prototype and validate new security improvements or solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation of all implemented security controls and measures.

Requirements

• Expertise in network security design in AWS and Azure environments (VPC/VNet, segmentation, application zoning, peering and hybrid connectivity, Virtual WAN, Cloud WAN).
• Strong expertise in filtering mechanisms, firewalls, proxies, and load balancing (L4/L7), including Network/Application Load Balancers and Web Application Firewalls.
• Proven experience in the design and validation of site-to-site and client VPNs, as well as interconnections with on-premises services.
• Ability to define, challenge, and validate secure network architectures in compliance with corporate standards and security requirements.
• Strong capability to support and advise internal teams (consulting, design reviews, recommendations) with a security-by-design approach.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and automation of security controls.
