What you will do

• Provide 2nd/3rd line support for business critical applications, investigating and resolving incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance existing applications using approved technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new features and system integrations.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational workflows.

Requirements

• Hybrid role requiring attendance in London, England.
• Strong experience in application support or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, .NET) and experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AI technologies.
• Experience working in a financial / regulated environment is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Exposure to containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
