What you will do

• Act as a "Field CTO," building peer-to-peer relationships with technical leaders at high-growth DNBs.
• Drive the "Hunter Motion" to acquire new, prestigious accounts within the UK startup ecosystem.
• Build awareness and strategic relationships within the UK startup and VC ecosystem.
• Focus on high-level architecture and strategic road-mapping, bridging business requirements with technical solutions.
• Mentor the wider Field Engineering team on engaging with CxOs in the digital-native segment.
• Develop high-impact customer-facing collateral and lead technical seminars on Generative AI and modern data stack architecture.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including significant time as a tech co-founder, Head of Engineering, VP-level leader, or high-impact technical contributor within high-growth startups.
• Proven ability to influence and win trust with senior technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
• Strong technical background (8+ years) in Data Engineering, Data Science, or AI, with a focus on technical evangelism and architectural vision.
• 5+ years of deep familiarity with the startup and VC landscape.
• Experience working with early-stage, high-growth digital natives, prioritizing speed and Time to Value.
• Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in articulating the strategic and commercial value of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, and Compound AI Systems.
• Familiarity with Agentic Workflows, model fine-tuning (Mosaic AI), and efficient inference at scale.
• Established presence in the technical community (e.g., high-impact blog, public speaking, open-source contributions).
