Social Media Intern

TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Las Vegas, Nevada. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

What you will do

• Assist in developing and scheduling content across social media channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.).
• Draft compelling copy for social posts, stories, and short-form video scripts.
• Monitor social media channels daily, engage with followers, and escalate concerns.
• Research trending topics, hashtags, and competitor activity to inform content strategy.
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually engaging multimedia content.
• Track and report on social media KPIs including engagement rate, follower growth, and impressions.
• Support paid social campaigns by assisting with audience targeting, ad copy, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Currently a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Active personal presence on major social platforms with a strong understanding of best practices.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels.
• Analytical mindset with curiosity about metrics and data-driven decision making.
• A creative, self-starter attitude with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
