Tech Lead (AI)

Location: Remote for candidates based in EMEA, LATAM, or North America

What you will do

• Work with the co-founders on priorities, execution, and technical direction.
• Coordinate engineering and product work across multiple parallel projects.
• Lead greenfield products powered by Large Language Models and modern AI technologies.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers.
• Plan and run engineering sprints to support predictable, high-quality delivery.
• Stay hands-on with coding, code reviews, debugging, and platform stability and performance improvements.

Requirements

• Strong technical foundation with experience leading engineering work.
• Ability to remain close to the codebase and contribute hands-on when needed.
• Experience providing technical guidance, debugging complex issues, and maintaining high quality and efficiency.
• Ability to align engineering and product teams across parallel projects.
• Willingness to recruit and build an engineering team and own the hiring process end to end.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or Redis is useful, but prior experience with the full stack is not required.
