Location: Hybrid 2-3 times/week in Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo, Brazil

What you will do

• Interact with team members to understand how to best apply data science and artificial intelligence.
• Monitor and maintain ML models and systems, ensuring their performance, operational, and business metrics.
• Deploy ML models in both batch and real-time scenarios, including building pipelines, constructing features, and integrating models.
• Build and maintain tooling and platforms to scale operations across multiple teams.

Requirements

• Extensive programming experience and familiarity with modern development techniques.
• Experience creating, deploying, and maintaining ML models and ML-enabled systems using modern frameworks.
• Understanding of common failure modes in ML-enabled systems and how to avoid/mitigate them.
• Familiarity with all stages of the ML model lifecycle, from inception to steady-state operation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based services from vendors such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Familiarity with software engineering and architecture principles for sustainable systems.
• Familiarity with data engineering routines, pipelines, and job scheduling frameworks.
• Ability to navigate complex mathematical and analytical environments when needed.
