Software Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fintech): Developing and optimizing proprietary and commercial applications for Asset & Wealth Management, with an accent on building scalable RESTful services using Java and Spring Boot. Focus on analyzing complex business requirements, adhering to SDLC best practices, and providing real-time support to global end-users.

Location: Expected to be in office all 5 days a week in Dallas, Texas, United States.

What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and define complex business requirements.
• Manage project releases through deployment, adhering to SDLC best practices.
• Develop strategic software solutions and platforms leveraging Java and Spring Boot to build scalable RESTful services.
• Create comprehensive technical and user documentation and provide training to end-users.
• Offer expert business guidance on system-related issues and facilitate effective communication.
• Participate in and/or lead design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to existing standards.

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate or equivalent degree in Computer Science with excellent GPA.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the required/preferred technologies.
• Strong analytical ability and creative thought process for innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for driving cross-divisional projects.
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Proven exposure to frontend development (e.g., React) and a solid understanding of core database concepts (SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Demonstrated experience with deploying applications in controlled environments.
