Salary: $141,520.00–$208,000.00 USD (ranges vary by US location)

What you will do

• Design and build robust, scalable backend systems and APIs for audience & journey creation, segmentation, and activation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define solutions balancing usability, performance, and long-term architecture.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly, articulating trade-offs and customer impact.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
• Troubleshoot and improve system reliability, debugging issues and refining operational tooling.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for managed services.

Requirements

• 5-10 years experience writing production-grade code in a modern programming language.
• Experience programming in one or more of the following: Go, Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience operating large-scale, distributed systems on cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with container orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, EKS, ECS) and large-scale async processing systems.
• Experience shipping services following CI/CD development paradigm.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills in English.
