What you will do

• Provide technical leadership in search technologies and guide cross-functional projects.
• Implement advanced search algorithms leveraging vector search, natural language processing, and personalization.
• Collaborate with machine learning and data science teams to optimize relevancy models.
• Develop APIs or services to integrate relevancy features and build efficient, real-time search query logic.
• Implement A/B testing frameworks to experiment with search approaches and drive continuous improvements.
• Enhance and optimize search infrastructure for scalability, robustness, and improved query response times.

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-college experience in Software Engineering, API development or related fields.
• Experience with search engines like OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Solr, and proficiency in vector search, NLP, and personalization.
• Strong understanding of concurrency patterns, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Significant experience developing and maintaining production-scale, customer-facing web services.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Java or Python for search and data engineering solutions.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems and working with cloud technologies like AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and DevOps pipelines.
• Experience with Agentic Workflows or AI-driven automation.
