What you will do

• Construct and maintain the critical systems that form the backbone of our operations.
• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems foundational to our product's functionality.
• Continuously improve system performance, identify bottlenecks, and deploy optimizations.
• Support and scale highly-available services essential for customers' time-sensitive needs.
• Evaluate new technologies and introduce subsystems as the product footprint grows.
• Mentor other engineers, help build the team's culture, and set standards for engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in AI-assisted software development.
• 5+ years of experience in professional full-stack or backend software development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, Python, or Go.
• Proven experience with backend programming languages and familiarity with SQL, RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred), and data warehousing solutions.
• Experience with deploying and monitoring code on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
