What you will do

• Build systems and pipelines for Search, Product, and other teams to access and utilize eval verdicts independently.
• Own the "evals-to-product" loop, transforming raw signals into durable datasets for decision-making.
• Develop a robust simulator pipeline to replay user interactions, reflecting product changes and legible to LLMs and VLMs.
• Implement monitoring, lineage, and quality checks to ensure data trust and reliability.
• Operate within a small, high-impact team, directly influencing hirify.global's Answer Quality measurements and improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping production software systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for writing production-grade, maintainable code.
• Experience with big data systems, including distributed compute and large-scale storage.
• Solid fundamentals in data modeling, system design, and debugging distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS and lakehouse ecosystems like Databricks or Spark.
• Comfortable with agentic coding workflows and using AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Data engineering background, including pipelines, orchestration, and warehousing patterns.
• Familiarity with LLM/VLM interfaces, tokenization, structured formats, and multimodal payloads.
• Experience with evaluation platforms, experimentation systems, or machine learning infrastructure.
• Prior work supporting customer-facing products at scale.
