Senior Python Developer (Music Tech)

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands (minimum one day a week onsite). No relocation or visa sponsorship available.

hirify.global was founded in 2021 and is building a kinder, more helpful service for independent artists to release their music and build a following.

What you will do

• Play a key role in defining the development focus within a small team.
• Create products that people love to use, thinking from the user's perspective.
• Work on backend processes (Python) and simple RESTful APIs connecting to frontend (React/TypeScript).
• Contribute to many different aspects of the product as part of a small, dynamic team.

Requirements

• Proven track record of Python development (4+ years).
• Familiarity with SQL databases and transactional guarantees.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ability to write high-quality, well-documented, and tested code.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Available at least 4 days a week, with one day on-site at the office in Amsterdam.
• Must have existing work authorization for the Netherlands, as relocation and visa sponsorship are not provided.
