Business Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Fintech): Supporting the product development lifecycle for hirify.global’s D2C digital platforms, ensuring product changes are clearly defined, efficient to implement, and deliver excellent customer outcomes. Focus on interpreting business requirements, producing detailed user stories, and providing analytical support for strategic projects and daily queries.

Location: Hybrid in Manchester or London, UK. An initial period will be full-time in the office.

What you will do

• Perform analysis to support Product Management in writing Problem Statements and Product Proposals.
• Support Product Development in interpreting business requirements and producing user stories/acceptance criteria.
• Produce high-quality documentation for As-Is and To-Be process flows.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and technical teams to ensure business needs are understood and compliant.
• Support web and mobile development teams, answering queries and testing tickets in Jira.
• Investigate and respond to product queries from customers and business teams.

Requirements

• Business analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Knowledge of FCA regulatory environment and Consumer Duty rules.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (strong Excel) and workflow diagramming tools (Visio, Miro).
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English.
• Ability to work hybrid in Manchester or London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience of an execution-only stockbroking environment.
• Experience of a product development environment with customer-facing web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with hirify.global’s D2C business model and back-office systems such as Figaro and Composer.
• Familiarity with Atlassian change management tools (Jira and Confluence).
