What you will do

• Own and influence the risk roadmap across payments risk, account takeover, money movement, and communications abuse.
• Partner with engineering and Risk Operations to identify and quantify risk, balancing loss prevention and user friction.
• Translate operational pain points and data insights into actionable product changes and improved tooling.
• Lead cross-team initiatives to define and drive risk protections spanning multiple domains.
• Design scalable risk capabilities including signals, limits, enforcement patterns, audit logs, and policy frameworks.
• Drive incident response for emerging fraud and abuse patterns and evaluate third-party vendor solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 6+ years of product management experience with cross-team delivery, ideally in fintech, security, trust & safety, marketplaces, or communications platforms.
• Proven experience using AI tools and automation to drive team efficiency or output quality.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to lead high-impact product initiatives from concept to launch.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without authority across teams and time zones.
• Data fluency with ability to define metrics, ensure instrumentation, and use data to iterate (SQL a plus).

Nice to have

• Experience with account security patterns such as step-up authentication and credential stuffing defenses.
• Knowledge of card and ACH network concepts including chargebacks, payout controls, and ACH return handling.
• Experience with email/SMS deliverability, abuse prevention, rate limiting, and sender reputation.
• Experience building shared platform services like rules engines, risk signals pipelines, and policy frameworks.
• Vendor evaluation experience in fraud, risk, or security tooling.
