What you will do

• Produce clear, well-structured, and fully tested C++ code.
• Focus on writing low-latency software in the hot-path areas of the system.
• Design and implement new features for the trading system with a predominant focus on infrastructure.
• Perform investigative work to understand how the system works and how it can be improved.
• Help maintain the test framework to ensure high-quality code at speed.

Requirements

• C++ development on a Linux/UNIX environment.
• Experience with automated C++ testing and version control systems.
• Ability to understand business requirements and develop systems to meet them.
• Ability to design well-documented, simple, and elegant systems that are easily maintainable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Websocket, TCP/IP, and multicast networking.
• An interest in compilers or a Science/Maths related degree.
