Location: Must be based in Dublin for our hybrid working model.

What you will do

• Build mongosync, a database migration and syncing tool used by hirify.global Atlas and on-prem customers.
• Develop hirify.global Database Tools, a set of CLI utilities for importing, exporting, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with product, support, and engineers to build customer-loved features.
• Mentor and contribute to the growth of team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining industrial-strength software.
• Experience building databases or core components for data processing systems.
• Experience with distributed systems such as data replication, distributed transactions, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Experience in at least one compiled language, and interest in working with Go.
• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills and a desire to collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior engineers.
• Curiosity, willingness, and ability to quickly learn new things in the domains of computer science and software engineering.
