What you will do

• Influence roadmap and career objectives, iterating on features based on results.
• Drive projects from initial idea to operational deployment for customers.
• Contribute to open-source projects beyond your immediate team's scope.
• Build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning their reliability, performance, and availability.
• Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations for owned services.
• Support team members, engage in design discussions, and collaborate effectively.

Requirements

• Based in Sweden, Spain, Germany, Ireland, or the UK.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Go, Python, C, C++, Rust, or similar).
• Some experience delivering projects as part of a larger team.
• Some experience with cloud software development or systems engineering.
• Some experience with being on-call and following the DevOps model.
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software.
• Familiarity with observability systems, including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Independent attitude and good communication skills are essential for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Experience working with queue systems (e.g., Kafka protocol).
• Prior use of Grafana and Prometheus in operational or hobby roles.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with the concept of infrastructure as code.
