Location: Hybrid in San Diego, California or Mountain View, California (3 times a week)

Salary: $133,500-199,500 USD per year

What you will do

• Conduct integrated operational, financial, compliance, and strategic audits with limited management oversight.
• Identify scope to assess and evaluate risks within end-to-end processes and develop risk-based audit scopes.
• Manage and execute walkthroughs of key processes to identify risks and create process documentation.
• Design and execute test plans that address significant risks, ensuring proper support and documentation.
• Implement data analytics techniques where appropriate for complex, data-driven processes.
• Act in an advisory and consulting role, monitoring management's remediation activities and gaining agreement on corrective actions.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in Public Accounting, Internal Auditing, and/or industry, including 1-2 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Strong understanding of product and operational audits, ability to perform complex data analytics, and good knowledge of general IT controls.
• Experience managing audits within a complex operational and regulatory environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and drive change.
• Must be able to be hybrid out of either our San Diego or Mountain View office 3 times a week.

Nice to have

• MS or MBA.
• CPA, CIA, CAMS, or CISA certification.
• Experience in fintech and/or banking.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies.
