Salary: $199,000–$278,500 (plus performance-based potential up to $318,500).

What you will do

• Design and build scalable services for the core platform architecture.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong test coverage.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure high technical standards.
• Monitor and support production systems to resolve incidents efficiently.
• Drive architectural improvements in performance, reliability, and tooling.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating distributed cloud services.
• Strong experience building and running platforms on AWS (EKS, ECS, EC2, IAM, S3, etc.).
• Deep hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes at scale.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Helm.
• Proven ability to contribute production code using languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify participation).

Nice to have

• Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) and advanced networking.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and policy-as-code in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Experience with AWS cost optimization strategies.
