What you will do
- Develop high-performance SDKs, many of which share a Rust-based core, across various languages and platforms.
- Contribute to the evolution of OpenFeature and its surrounding open-source ecosystem.
- Design and implement systems supporting advanced experimentation models (e.g., mutual exclusion, holdouts, contextual multi-armed bandits).
- Architect global systems for distributing feature flag configurations and ingesting evaluations reliably and at low latency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate feature flagging with hirify.global’s observability and AI-assisted development products.
Requirements
- Experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems through iteration and pragmatism.
- Proficient in Rust and eager to expand a shared Rust core that powers SDKs and edge components.
- Comfortable working across multiple programming languages and able to learn new ones quickly.
- Skilled at cross-team collaboration and identifying solutions that balance impact and effort.
- Must be able to work from one of the specified office locations (Bordeaux, Grenoble, Lyon, Nantes, Paris, Sophia Antipolis, France or Madrid, Spain) in a hybrid model.
