What you will do

  • Lead and manage the Storage & Enrichment engineering team.
  • Drive the team’s technical roadmap for data storage and enrichment.
  • Collaborate with product, data engineering, and analytics stakeholders.
  • Build and refine processes for sprint planning, quality assurance, and incident response.
  • Mentor engineers to help them grow in technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Ensure platform components meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead.
  • Strong backend engineering background with Go and/or Java.
  • Experience designing and operating high-load backend systems.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in finance or trading domain.
  • Familiarity with hirify.global as a product.
  • Experience with data governance, cataloging, and metadata frameworks.
  • Background working with real-time or near-real-time data pipelines.
  • Prior experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.
