The Role
Bitfinex is hiring an HR People Operations Specialist to help build and strengthen the operational backbone of the People function.

This is a fully remote, global role — ideal for someone who enjoys structure, systems, and creating smooth, reliable HR processes in a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.

You’ll support day-to-day HR operations, maintain accurate records, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, and ensure seamless collaboration between HR, Finance, and leadership.

What You’ll Do
— Coordinate and manage day-to-day HR operational processes
— Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
— Support onboarding and offboarding across a global team
— Track time-off and maintain compliance standards
— Collaborate closely with Finance and leadership on people-related processes
— Work with HR systems, spreadsheets, and collaborative tools
— Analyze HR and operational data to improve processes
— Serve as a visible, approachable contact for HR-related questions

What You Bring
— 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, People & Engagement, or Project Coordination
— Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
— Experience working in fully remote, asynchronous environments
— Solid understanding of core HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, records management, compliance basics)
— Comfort working with HR systems and data
— Strong analytical mindset
— Excellent English communication skills
— High level of discretion and data privacy awareness
— Proactive, solution-oriented approach
