Fullstack Engineer (NextJS)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (NextJS): Building scalable front-end experiences and backend services using React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript for digital platforms connecting customers to home services with an accent on GraphQL APIs, UI components, and system architecture. Focus on designing maintainable solutions, integrating third-party APIs, optimizing performance, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Location: Hybrid schedule based in South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday office, Monday and Friday remote). This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer including OPT/STEM-EXT OPT, nor corp-to-corp.

Total Cash Compensation: $80,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with product and design to build high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js
• Design, build, and integrate backend services and APIs with Node.js, TypeScript, REST, and GraphQL
• Contribute to architectural decisions, system design, CI/CD pipelines, and application performance monitoring
• Write clean code, participate in code reviews, pair program, and improve codebase efficiency through automation
• Work with product managers and engineers to deliver business-aligned solutions
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js
• Experience with scalable front-end apps, reusable UI components, backend services, APIs (REST/GraphQL), third-party integrations
• Familiarity with AWS, databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), automated testing (Jest, Playwright), Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Agile
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, growth mindset

• Modern architectures (serverless, event-driven), TDD, mobile apps, Node.js ORMs (Prisma, Sequelize), WordPress
