Fullstack Engineer (Energy)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (React/Node.js): Building personalized energy shopping experiences with an accent on dynamic user interfaces and scalable backend APIs. Focus on end-to-end feature delivery, architectural design, and CI/CD automation using AWS and Terraform.

Location: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC). Must be based in South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday) and work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Build and integrate backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of features from design through deployment.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and AWS.
• Collaborate with data science, product, and design teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and drive architectural consistency through design patterns.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Node.js and building backend APIs.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• No visa sponsorship or transfer available (including H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN).
• Role is not available for corp-to-corp (C2C) contracts.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with NX monorepo architectures.
• Experience with lightweight API frameworks like Hono, Fastify, or Express.
• Contributions to open source projects.
