What you will do
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to Calypso implementations and enhancements.
- Work closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and Operations teams to understand business processes and system needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and solution designs.
- Support configuration and integration activities across Calypso modules.
- Collaborate with development and technical teams to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
- Design and execute test scenarios and test cases, supporting SIT and UAT cycles.
- Assist with production support, issue analysis, and root cause investigation.
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst within financial services or capital markets environments.
- Hands-on experience working with the Calypso platform.
- Strong understanding of trading lifecycle concepts, including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, and lifecycle events.
- Experience working with system integrations and upstream/downstream platforms.
- Ability to write clear functional documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience across specific Calypso modules such as Front Office, Risk, Back Office, or Accounting.
- Knowledge of asset classes including FX, Rates, Fixed Income, Derivatives, or Commodities.
- Familiarity with SQL and basic data analysis.
- Experience supporting regulatory or reporting requirements.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
