Director Product Management – New Product Development, Consumer Lending (Fintech)

TL;DR

Director of Product Management (Fintech): Driving the strategy, vision, and execution of innovative lending products to serve members' evolving financial needs with an accent on leading cross-functional teams and guiding new product development. Focus on shaping relevant, inclusive, and forward-thinking experiences, and ensuring efficient progression from research to delivery.

Location: Must be a resident of WA, OR, ID, CA, AZ, TX, VA, NC, SC or GA. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance to our Tukwila Headquarters (TFC), we encourage you come into the office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays each week. For those candidates that live outside the commutable distance to TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be primarily remote.

Salary: $199,300.00-$243,800.00 annually

What you will do

• Set the vision, roadmap, and long-term goals for new and existing lending products, ensuring they align with hirify.global’s growth, engagement, and experience objectives.
• Make key decisions within a complex product ecosystem, while collaborating across teams and functions to unify efforts and outcomes.
• Partner with Marketing to respond to industry shifts and market opportunities and develop penetration strategies for new segments and geographies.
• Serve as the integration lead for a merger with an established credit union, coordinating cross‑functional teams to drive planning, execution, and change management that ensure continuity and alignment across the business.
• Inspire, coach, and grow a high-performing team by providing regular feedback, development opportunities, and support to help them thrive.
• Learn from outcomes, refine the roadmap, and adjust the vision as member needs and market dynamics change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technology, business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of product management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of people leader experience.
• Experience working with consumer lending products.
• Experience leading or supporting large-scale product conversion planning.
• Experience developing and launching new consumer lending products.
• Experience with financial institution mergers to lead product assessments.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree.
• Experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
• Ability to proactively identify business and customer needs and opportunities, overcome barriers, and formulate solutions with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading cross functional teams.
• Previous experience understanding and determining product strategies based on the voice of the customer.
• Experience managing and maintaining vendor relationships.
