Location: Remote within the US and Canada, with team members in San Francisco and New York. This role supports both remote and flexible hybrid work arrangements; in-person collaboration opportunities are available.

Salary: $222,431–$261,684/year

hirify.global is building a simple, intuitive, fully-powered editing tool for video and audio, an editing tool built for the age of AI, backed by major investors.

What you will do

• Manage team priorities, drive alignment across stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Define team direction by connecting customer needs, product vision, and technical realities in collaboration with Product, Design, and AI engineering.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow 5-6 software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
• Ensure predictable, reliable, and sustainable execution, implementing best practices in project management and engineering processes.
• Guide architectural decisions, ensure sound design tradeoffs, address technical debt, and drive delivery of high-quality, reliable systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of engineering management experience delivering complex, cross-functional product work.
• Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain strong engineering talent, creating collaborative and high-performing team environments.
• Strong product sense with the ability to think deeply about customers and contribute to great product experiences.
• Strong technical background with the ability to guide architectural decisions, evaluate tradeoffs, and maintain engineering excellence.
• Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, thriving in collaborative environments.
• Data-driven thinking to convert business objectives into technical metrics and guide prioritization; ability to adapt to the changing AI landscape.
