What you will do

• Manage day-to-day relationships with licensees, including onboarding, problem-solving, marketing, and business reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams to support partnership product development, owning licensing flow, release schedule, and marketing information.
• Act as a liaison between Japan and the U.S. by translating communication, interpreting in meetings, and helping teams navigate Japanese business culture.
• Provide insights on the Japanese marketplace and community, identify opportunities, and build performance reports.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in program management, partnerships, or licensing.
• Near native level Japanese proficiency and strong communication skills in both Japanese and English (C1+).
• 4-6 years of experience in translation and consecutive interpreting (Japanese/English).
• 4-6 years experience within consumer goods or gaming, with a deep understanding of the Japanese TCG market and gaming culture.
• At least 2 years analyzing or working with legal agreements and external relationships.
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints and within budget.
