Location: Hybrid role based in Menlo Park, CA (3 days per week), with other US office locations including Bellevue, WA.

Salary: $232,000–$333,500

What you will do

• Champion a code-first, prototype-driven approach using AI-enabled tools (e.g., Cursor, Figma, agents).
• Lead systems design thinking across Collaboration, Catalog, Marketplace, and Postgres domains, defining data interaction patterns and semantic structures.
• Partner with senior leadership in product management and engineering as co-architects of AI-driven systems and UX strategy.
• Manage and grow a diverse, technically fluent design team, focusing on career development and AI upskilling.
• Anticipate and guide how AI reshapes user journeys, workflows, and system architecture across various surfaces.
• Oversee multiple projects, scale design resources, and ensure team effectiveness by setting clear, measurable goals.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years designing complex, data-heavy products and systems.
• Strong understanding of data catalogs, governance, and/or marketplace ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI into design workflows and product strategy.
• Ability to extract patterns from real-world interactions and help teams converge on scalable solutions.
• Track record of shipping high-quality work at speed using code-first, iterative processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to articulate design concepts and rationale.
