Senior Data Engineer (Google BigQuery)

What you will do

• Model, structure, validate, and maintain source data and foundational data structures.
• Prepare reliable datasets for analytics and business applications.
• Perform master data validation and maintain data quality across items, hierarchies, market data, and pricing.
• Coordinate with source-system owners and master and reference data stakeholders.
• Investigate data inconsistencies and drive data-quality issues through to resolution.
• Collaborate with development, integration, architecture, testing, product, business, and external supplier teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience in data engineering and data modelling.
• Solid understanding of information modelling and data models.
• Strong SQL skills, including DDL.
• Experience with Google BigQuery, PostgreSQL or other SQL databases, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with master data, reference data, or data quality is beneficial.
• Ability to work across technical and business domains.
