Data Engineer (Range Operations)

Location: Malmö, Sweden, with occasional travel to Älmhult

What you will do

• Develop and deploy data products for Core Business Range.
• Transform data through ETL/ELT and manage data integration, processing, and modeling.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure for data sourcing, processing, and sharing.
• Provide APIs for standardized data access and sharing.
• Optimize, test, and implement tools for data quality monitoring, including drift and decay detection.
• Translate business data needs into technical solutions and architectures while ensuring security, legal, delivery, and cost standards.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in PySpark, Python, and SQL for data pipelines and large-scale data processing.
• Experience leveraging AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Databricks Genie Code.
• Strong knowledge of software development languages and on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships, take ownership, mentor junior colleagues, and support data-driven development.
