Infrastructure Engineer (Data Platform)

What you will do

• Build ingestion infrastructure for events from millions of Lovable applications, isolating untrusted producers and preventing tenant interference.
• Develop managed analytical storage with schema management, partitioning, and compaction for continuous small writes.
• Improve query performance without keeping dedicated compute warm for every tenant.
• Build isolated runtimes for agent-written connectors, including credentials, scheduling, retries, and state management.
• Measure and reduce per-tenant costs through metering, limits, and workload isolation.
• Operate production systems with observability, freshness monitoring, and recovery capabilities.

Requirements

• Production experience building and operating data systems at scale.
• Deep expertise in at least one of ingestion, storage formats and table layout, query execution, or orchestration, with the ability to work across the other areas.
• Experience with multi-tenant or untrusted workloads, including isolation, noisy-neighbor prevention, and cost control.
• Strong judgment around abstractions, cost-latency tradeoffs, and designs that must scale by an order of magnitude.
• Experience working with AI agents end to end and owning systems in production.
• English is required for the application and company communication.
