TL;DR

Software Engineer (Python)(Operations & Support Tools Team): Building and optimizing operations and support tools for both modern and legacy systems with an accent on implementing new features, supporting existing ones, and incident management. Focus on navigating complex codebases, debugging, and driving continuous improvements in a dynamic production environment.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office in Vilnius, Lithuania). This role is not eligible for relocation & immigration support.

Salary: €3,500–€6,500 (gross) per month.

What you will do

• Implement new features and support existing ones.
• Participate in development activities like code reviews and release management.
• Engage in team activities, plannings, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA.
• Provide production support and incident management for services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial Web development.
• Strong development experience in Python (Web) and Django.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS.
• Ability to read, extend, and debug complex existing codebases.
• Responsibility and self-sufficiency, with critical thinking skills.
• Good spoken and written English (B2 level and higher).

Nice to have

• Experience in code optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, DRF, Key-value databases, and Message Queues.
• Mentorship skills.
