What you will do

• Develop and maintain SimBrief flight planning tool using PHP and related technologies
• Manage and improve LAMP stack infrastructure including webservers and databases
• Collaborate with distributed teams in Sweden and Canada
• Contribute to cloud migration efforts aligning with company standards
• Work on both frontend and backend development tasks
• Participate in pair programming and agile team processes

Requirements

• Work location: Hybrid with presence in Stockholm office
• Proven experience in PHP and relational databases
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with GNU/Linux, shell scripting, Apache, and NGINX
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to work collaboratively in distributed teams

Nice to have

• Experience with flight planning and aircraft performance calculations
• DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience, preferably AWS
• Experience with React and React Native
• Understanding of aeronautical navigation principles
• Passion for flight simulation and aviation
