Director, Product Management - Data (AI/Data Platform)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $286,500–$387,500 per year, plus potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead product vision, strategy, and execution for the Data Platform portfolio.
• Modernize legacy data architecture toward governed lakehouse patterns and self-service enterprise data access.
• Oversee batch and streaming data processing, data quality frameworks, lineage tracking, and governance policies.
• Enable analytics and AI/ML through data discovery tools, feature stores, model-training infrastructure, dashboards, reporting, and metrics platforms.
• Build customer-backed product roadmaps, define success metrics, and drive engineering requirements and delivery.
• Partner with engineering leaders to improve platform reliability, adoption, and innovation.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience building SaaS or platform software products.
• Strategic product leadership with the ability to align AI initiatives with business goals.
• Demonstrated success delivering AI solutions in digital environments.
• Extensive experience leading paid and subscription software products across their lifecycle.
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills in a product ecosystem environment.
• Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining product talent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.
• Background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science.
• Experience with AI/ML data infrastructure, feature stores, or MLOps.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements.
