Salary: £27,600 - £33,500 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Pitch new ideas and creative treatments for news stories.
• Self-shoot and edit original stories for multiple platforms.
• Script, produce, and edit video content for social media audiences.
• Post links, graphics, photos, and reels on social media feeds daily.
• Collaborate with digital, TV, and audio teams to create explainers and reversion content.

Requirements

• Demonstrates confidence in digital storytelling, with the ability to film and edit content that works well across different digital platforms and to develop creative ways of telling stories
• Uses social listening daily to source stories and has a thorough understanding of the social media market
• Is proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or other video editing software
• Experience of working in a daily news environment with the ability to work to tight deadlines to turn around content
• A good understanding of media law and the hirify.global’s editorial guidelines
