What you will do
- Supervise in-house, outsourced, and offsite QA groups effectively across multiple project needs.
- Build and track schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Provide clear direction and expectations to team members.
- Manage performance effectively, coach, develop, and mentor staff.
- Provide strategic oversight of the project database, ensuring high‑quality bug documentation.
- Interact directly with Development and Production teams to manage priorities, expectations, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Experience leading a QA team, typically 3–5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of performance management, including delivering feedback, coaching.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workloads across multiple individuals or projects.
- Proven background in Test processes and procedures and an understanding of the game development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills in reviewing all design-related information and interpreting areas of risk in testing.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and a drive towards self-improvement.
Nice to have
- Experience with hiring and staffing processes, including interviewing, onboarding, and supporting career development.
- Strong understanding of organizational policies, HR guidelines, and compliance standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Copilot, and various tools for scheduling and tracking deliverables.
- BS in Computer Science or previous experience in Test Automation is desired.
