What you will do
- Provide strategic leadership to engineering teams, setting clear direction and ensuring alignment with company vision.
- Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Align engineering priorities with product strategy to ensure focus on business-critical initiatives and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and operations.
- Build team capabilities and develop capacity strategies, while maintaining cost awareness for cloud services and headcount.
- Partner with the architecture team to shape long-term engineering strategies and optimize processes.
Requirements
- Solid engineering background with professional software development experience.
- Minimum five years experience leading cross-functional teams within a medium/large sized product area.
- Good understanding of core engineering practices such as testing methodologies, coding, CI/CD, AI, security, and architecture.
- Takes initiative with a client-focused approach and clear execution drive.
- Ability to anticipate the skillset, capability, and capacity needs of the product area.
- Effective problem-solving and collaboration skills to overcome obstacles.
- English: B2 required
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms.
- Background in FinTech or capital markets.
