What you will do

• Evolve progressive delivery using Argo Rollouts and GitOps, enhancing canary strategies and automated rollbacks.
• Optimize CI/CD infrastructure at scale, improving build times and artifact management.
• Design and implement deployment gates and guardrails to prevent production incidents.
• Build world-class deployment observability and visibility using Datadog and custom tooling.
• Drive the company's 2026 reliability mission by implementing chaos testing and automated rollback mechanisms.
• Pioneer continuous, automated load testing with k6-based frameworks.
• Champion engineering excellence and mentor mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, or SRE.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), and progressive delivery strategies.
• Strong CI/CD experience with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Reliability engineering and observability expertise with Datadog, Prometheus, SLIs, and SLOs.
• Technical versatility in TypeScript, Ruby, Python, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Experience with load testing (k6) and Infrastructure as Code (AWS, Terraform).
• Product mindset for internal platforms and strong collaboration/mentorship skills.
• Must be located in Canada.
