TL;DR

Senior Devops Engineer: Collaborating with delivery teams to streamline software development, deployment, and operations processes with an accent on automation, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), monitoring, and infrastructure management. Focus on maintaining security measures to protect data and infrastructure, and ensuring applications are scalable and fault-tolerant.

Location: Remote or from offices in Montevideo, Buenos Aires, and Medellín

What you will do

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of applications.
Manage software releases by collaborating with the development team.
Set up and maintain development and testing environments.
Oversee infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networking.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and infrastructure.
Mentor junior and semi-senior DevOps engineers in practices, tools, and capabilities.

Requirements

5 years approx. of experience working in DevOps roles.
Experience working with AWS.
+4 years of experience in containers.
+3 years experience working with Kubernetes, ECS, or similar.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, bash, or typescript.
Advanced English skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

Having an AWS solution architect, Kubernetes certification or a similar certification from another cloud provider.
