What you will do

• Design, code, test, and debug primarily back-end software applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and the finance team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues efficiently.
• Create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and propose process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or similar.
• Experience with back-end frameworks and technologies (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django, Rails).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.
• Must be authorized and based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in Javascript/Typescript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, NextJS).
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
