Salary: $217,000 - $303,900 USD

What you will do

• Drive the technical direction and long-term strategy for the Fraud detection system.
• Architect a 2+ year technical roadmap for highly available and performant backend services.
• Develop and execute the strategy for world-class Fraud Detection systems.
• Mentor and coach technical contributors to foster technical excellence and proactive problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Policy, and Legal teams to meet stakeholder needs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience leading large-scale technical projects.
• Strong expertise in large-scale distributed systems and reliable backend services.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language (Go, Python, Scala, Java, or C++).
• Demonstrated ability to disambiguate complex problems and align stakeholders.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Tech Lead or in a similar function.
• Experience in Ads Fraud, Ad review, or Ads Brand Safety.
• Proven track record of utilizing LLMs in production systems.
• Expertise in Python and/or Go.
