TL;DR

Lead Salesforce Engineer (Salesforce): Leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions to meet organizational needs with an accent on architecting scalable, high-performing solutions using Salesforce technologies and integrating with internal/external systems. Focus on enforcing coding standards, driving DevOps adoption, and mentoring junior engineers.

Location: Fully onsite in Medellin, Colombia, 5 days a week. Must be based in Medellin or be willing to relocate to Medellin.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
• Architect and build scalable, high-performing solutions using Salesforce technologies.
• Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other internal and external systems.
• Enforce coding standards and best practices, including code reviews and ensuring efficient, reusable, and scalable code.
• Drive the adoption of Salesforce development lifecycle tools and processes like DevOps and CI/CD.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and implementation, with 3+ years in a Lead role.
• Proficiency in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, LWC, SOQL, Triggers, and Flows.
• Strong knowledge of SOAP and REST web services, and experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, & CPQ Cloud.
• Proven experience in leading Salesforce projects, architecture design, system integrations, and DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines.
• English: B2 proficiency required.
