Location: Hybrid (Redmond, US). Employees are expected to work from a designated hirify.global office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles.

Salary: $119,800 – $304,200 per year

What you will do

• Build secure and performant APIs that power Copilot applications.
• Collaborate with product engineers, PMs, and platform engineers to transform ambiguous projects into consumer experiences.
• Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
• Identify and overcome technical roadblocks to deliver work iteratively to users.
• Operate within a fast-paced, design-driven product development cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Redmond, US office (4 days/week if within 50 miles).
• Experience building scalable services on public cloud infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proven experience building distributed systems at scale with deep knowledge of containers and networking.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL, Rest APIs, Protobuf, Thrift, and streaming protocols (Websocket, SSE, WebRTC).
• Familiarity with backend and mobile data schema code generation and version control for mobile releases.
• Experience working with AI platforms, frameworks, and APIs.
• Proficiency with RDBMS and key-value stores.
